The Artwork of Janet Hill

Written on September 15, 2009 // Design Comments Off

I think I’ve mentioned Janet Hill before, maybe in a Friday Favorites post awhile back, but as I’ve been continually moved by her paintings I thought I’d expand a little more.

I have three of her prints, but I’m hoping to get ahold of an original someday when there’s one I have to have and there’s money in the bank, and it doesn’t get sold right away (timing is everything).

The Sunday Picnic

Janet is a young artist in Canada who seems to paint something new every day. She posts new originals on her blog all the time, but you have to be fast and tune in. They tend to sell out within hours or less of her posting.

Although I personal find glee in her homey classy country prints, she also has a wonderful collection of other things like these shoes, and women living a feminine life.
