Work
the days are long and tiresome fighting change with dogged fires from an earth i don’t know sweat breaks my bones with the weight they carry knowing it’s a cold day when my feet will tarry past the minute i’m told
shackles rain down just to tell me i’m not leaving soon i hear the water rushing overhead seeping into the room taunting me in these shoes and all the stains of muscles burned leave my love in piles of nothing earned as the days come now in twos
Tweet me (but don't mistweet me)
